Mathematics is all around us. Consciously and sub consciously, we deal with mathematical concepts every day. As a school it has been our endeavour to make the children understand and cherish the magic of numbers.
One of the greatest mathematicians the world has seen was Srinivas Ramanujan. He has been hailed by the world, as a mathematician par excellence. On 22nd December 2012, the then Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh commemorated the 125th birth anniversary of Ramanujan, by declaring that it would be celebrated as National Mathematics Day every year.
To commemorate this occasion, we planned a series of activities across the Junior School. This video would give you a glimpse of the activities and quizzes that our children were involved in.
