Warm greetings on International Yoga Day 2021.
“Yoga is like music: the rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind, and the harmony of the soul create the symphony of life.” ― B.K.S. Iyengar
Enthusiastic Shri Ramites from Classes II to V, teachers and parents came together on the virtual platform to celebrate the International Yoga Day this morning. Led by our Yoga teachers, Neeraj Sir and Sarita Ma’am, the Special Assembly marked the importance of practicing yoga for our physical, mental and spiritual well-being, making healthier choices and following lifestyle patterns that foster good health.
A soulful invocation marked the beginning of the session. The participants followed the guided instructions to do breathing awareness exercises and several asanas like Vrikshasan, Ardh-halasan, Vajrasan, Chakrasan, etc. The half an hour session concluded with Shavasan and Pranayam. Overwhelmed by the warm response from the parents, children and teachers, it was gratifying to see all the participants feeling calm and rejuvenated after this soothing session.
