Today was an opportunity for us to reach out to the children of Anand Vidyalaya as a part of our Joy of Giving programme by volunteering time and providing skills to their enthusiastic children in the field of information technology. 

An interaction with Form IV children was planned in an ICT session wherein they worked on a child friendly software and created a jungle scene using animal stamps. Our children peer tutored them by giving inputs and ideas as to how to create a picture of their choice. They signed off proudly on their creation.

Another session on Science experiments was conducted in the laboratory giving them exposure to the lab equipment and learning about Sedimentation, decantation and filtration. The ambience in the lab engrossed them in the ‘hand on ‘experience. The session ended on a fun note wherein they watched a short film from the famous Akbar Birbal series.

All that was needed was one simple conscious act of giving combined with motivation, our children gave with all their patience and confidence upholding the ethos of our school.
