The Primary School Student Exchange Programme between TSRS, Aravali and GIS, Maldives began on the 07^th October and culminated on 25^th November 20. Our 18 Grade V cultural ambassadors got an opportunity to communicate and collaborate effectively over six weeks of exchange combined with intercultural dialogue within the broad realm of digital technology. The engaging activities woven together with cross-cultural teamwork infused an affable reciprocation amongst the students.An array of engagements were designed to let the  students get a glimpse of each other’s art, food specialities, music, festivals, eco-tourism, and marine life. The Zoom spotlights enabled projections of  Warli art, making coconut laddoos, craft project on marine tourism, designing post cards for the promotion of sustainable tourism enhanced the ethnic mosaic understanding of the students. The learning augmented appreciation and awareness of each other’s rich cultural diversity. This stemmed from the profound connection they have made with new friends across the border in their formative years. We are indeed proud of our Grade V students as it was heartening to see children’s uploaded asynchronous tasks which were done with great interest. They impressed us with their beautiful postcards to highlight eco-tourism, cards made in Warli art and videos of delicious shrikhand being served to their families and a melodious tune being played on the jal tarang!
