Excitement and anticipation fill the air as the teams, assembled in the centre of the court, stretch out their right arms to take the oath. Honour, glory, the true spirit of sportsmanship…. lofty ideals to which each aspires.
The Shri Basketball Tournament, 2017, the first inter-school sporting event hosted by The Shri Ram School, Aravali, was inaugurated on the 29th of August at The Manju Bharat Ram Hall. The participating schools include The Shri Ram School, Vasant Vihar; Ramjas School; Shiv Nadar School; Sanskriti School and Suncity World School. The day began well for the home teams, as they confidently won their matches.
The week-long tournament, with the finals scheduled for Monday, 4th September, promises to be quite keenly contested. As our director, Mrs. Manika Sharma said, “May the best team win!”
