The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of The Shri Ram School is a proactive support group of parents that shares the school’s commitment to the idea that the intellectual, physical and emotional growth and development of our children can best be ensured through a three-way relationship between the child, the teacher and the parent. The PTA has worked closely with the school on several initiatives such as Shri Sangeet and Shri Srijan.
The PTA has an Executive Committee (EC) which is the primary interface with the school. Its role is to bring to the notice of the school issues that reflect the concerns of the majority of the parent body. It is also important for the EC to understand the school’s perspective on issues and to be able to communicate it to the rest of the parent group. Every class is represented by a parent (called the CR) and every form by a parent Form Representative (FR).
